Episode Nine: Out of the Past Synopsis

  Korra meditates on her visions
    In episode 9, it starts out with Korra being led into some sort of metallic or platinum box by Tarrlock's bloodbending abilities.  Once in the box Korra decides to follow Tenzin's instructions and meditates on the visions of Aang she has been seeing.  She sees Aang, Toph and Sokka go after a criminal bloodbender, Yukone, in court and find him guilty.  Yukone is able to bloodbend without out a full moon and without his hands. Just as he is proven guilty, he bloodbends everyone in the council and everyone who was witnessing the court hearing.  He escapes but soon Aang follows him after going into the Avatar state and overcoming the bloodbending.  Aang realizes that he cannot be trusted and takes his bending away.

The Search for Korra


    Early in the morning Tenzin gets a call saying that Tarrlock was attacked by the equalists and that Korra was taken by Amon.  Tarrlock placed equalist stuff around the council room to make it look like there was truly an attack, he even shocked himself.

    Meanwhile, Lynn Beifong broke Asami, Mako, and Bolin out of prison and met up with Tenzin to rescue Korra. Since Beifong said Korra was missing, Mako has been very worried...(A little too worried) and Asami noticed.                            
                                                                                                                                                                   
   They make it to an equalist underground tunnel and take back Beifong's metal benders, who have already had their bending taken away :(.  They all realize that it was Tarrlock who took Korra not Amon and they go after Tarrlock and discover his bloodbending abilities.  (**Also during this Bolin tells Asami that Korra and Mako kissed after Asami told him to tell her what was going on.)

    Meanwhile back at Tarrlock's secret cabin in the woods where he is keeping Korra, Amon is there to fight Tarrlock.  Tarrlock said to Amon that "...[he's] never seen bending like this before." and he bloodbends Amon and the equalists.  Amon RESISTED the bloodbending (I know right!) and took Tarrlock's bending away.  Korra escaped and made it back to Republic City on Naga.
   
     Tenzin and everyone find Korra and Mako picks her up (in front of Asami's shocked face) and carries her to the sky bison and its ends there.
